Bench Press - Max rep attempts with 115 Lbs (Women Max rep attempts with 90 Lbs)

  • Minimum of 4 second rest between reps without racking bar.

  • Bar must touch chest.

  • The lifter must lie on his/her back with shoulders and buttocks in contact with the flat bench surface.

Flying Ladder (Flying Unweighted Pull-up) - Max Attempts (Video)

  • Once feet leave the ground, attempt starts.

  • Feet cannot touch the ground during the attempt.

Front Lever - Scored based on longest duration

  • Body must be completely horizontal and straight

1 Arm Pull Up - Max Rep Attempts

  • Minimum of 4 second rest between reps without feet touching the ground.

  • Chin must go above the bar.

  • After each rep, athlete must be sure to completely straighten arm.

Grippul Lift 20mm - Max Percentage of Weight

  • Weight stack must lift off of the ground at least 1 inch.

  • Must be a controlled and lowered lift of at least 2 seconds.

  • Thumb-locking not allowed

  • Highest of three attempts is recorded.

Grippul Lift 14mm - Max Percentage of Weight

  • Weight stack must lift off of the ground at least 1 inch.

  • Must be a controlled and lowered lift of at least 2 seconds.

  • Thumb-locking not allowed

  • Highest of three attempts is recorded.

Weighted Pull-ups - Max Reps with 45 Lbs

  • Minimum of 4 second rest between reps without feet touching the ground.

  • Chin must go above the bar.

  • After each rep, athlete must be sure to completely straighten arm.

Womens - Max Weighted Pull Up - 2 Rep Max

  • Scored based on highest percent of bodyweight

  • Chin must go above bar.

  • After each rep, athlete must be sure to completely straighten arm.

Compression Challenge - Longest duration 

  • Once feet leave the ground, attempt starts.

  • Feet cannot touch the ground during the attempt.

Finals - Field Test
Top 6 from strength test move on to finals. Men / Women

4 Climbs Ranging V10-v13

  • 2 climbs with 1 zone / 1 top

  • 2 climbs with 1 low zone / 1 zone / 1 top

As set forth in USAC Rule 8.13.1, competitors are ranked in their Category by:

• Number of Tops achieved, then number of Zones, then number of Low Zones (as applicable); and then

• Number of Total Attempts to achieve Tops, then Zones, then Low Zones.

• Where necessary, ties in the above score are broken based on strength test results.
